Our Exciting Journey: A Dream Come True

Hello, everyone! We’re thrilled to share the next chapter of our lives with you as we embark on an incredible journey together. For the past five years, my husband’s job has taken him on many adventures, but he’s always traveled alone. While my daughter, our two fur babies, and I have visited him when we could, we’ve longed for a way to travel together as a family.

Taking the Leap

Two months ago, after countless discussions and planning, we made the bold decision to put our house on the market and downsize our belongings. It wasn’t an easy choice, but it felt right. We wanted to embrace a lifestyle filled with travel and adventure, and that meant simplifying our lives.

We started by listing our furniture online, and to our surprise, it all sold quickly! The process of decluttering was both liberating and emotional. Every item we let go of held memories, but we realized we were making space for new experiences. To tackle the smaller items, we decided to hold a garage sale. It was a fun way to connect with our community while clearing out the last remnants of our old life.

Moving Forward

Now, we’re down to the bare essentials, and our house has been on the market for two weeks. It feels surreal to see our home—once filled with so many memories—prepped for new owners. My husband left for work at the beginning of the week, and while he’s off on his next adventure, we’re eagerly waiting for everything to fall into place. Soon, we’ll be able to join him and embrace our new life on the road!

The Road Ahead

The excitement is palpable! We can’t wait to explore new places, meet new people, and create unforgettable memories as a family. Traveling with my daughter and our two fur babies will bring unique challenges, but we’re ready to embrace them all.
